Welcome to Accrington Academy!

Welcome to Accrington Academy!

I would like to welcome you all officially to the Accrington Academy community. We are very much looking forward to you joining us in September 2026, along with another 200 students in Year 7.

We are delighted to welcome our new students along with their families onto this journey from primary to secondary school, and I know this can be quite an anxious time for some; that's why we're here to help!

We pride ourselves on our TEAM values, hold high expectations and set out an educational offer that allows us to "build character, create learners and transform lives".

You are joining our academy at a very exciting time and there are lots of new things we can't wait to share with you.

TeamAA core values:

Truth - We will tell the truth to ourselves and each other, even when it’s hard.
Effort - We will work hard individually and as a team and never give up.
Ambition - We will always aim high and challenge ourselves to be the best we can be.
Manners - We will respect everyone in our school and treat everyone with kindness.

I am really looking forward to working with you on your transition to your new school, please do not hesitate to contact me at the academy if you have any questions.
