We recommend that parents/carers discuss with their child how they use online technology and then set up relevant parental controls and remind them to report any concerns to you.
There are lots of information websites to support parents/guardians with keeping their children safe online so we have put the links to some of the websites that are available to help parents keep their children safe online.
We have also added various information sheets for quick reference if your child is thinking about using one of those online sites:
The four main providers of internet services have collaborated to produce the Internet Matters website that is full of information and advice for parents/guardians. It includes the setting of parental controls (different age groups)

Free training for parents (protecting children from Child Sexual Exploitation)
We have also added a range of useful information sheets to this page for parents/guardians depending upon the sites that your child has expressed an interest to you in using or currently uses.
