Year 7 Spelling Team

The Year 7 spelling team came 3rd in today's heats after a nail-bitingly close finish.

The other schools taking part were Shuttleworth, Hollins, Rhyddings, Ribblesdale, Haslingden High, Hawkley High (in Wigan) and Culcheth High (outside Warrington). Haslingden High came second and Culcheth were the winners.

Unfortunately, only the winning team can progress to the next round but our team were fantastic. They had clearly been practising hard and really enjoyed the day.
