Everyone at Accrington Academy would like to congratulate Nevaeh on a series of outstanding sporting achievements that showcase her dedication, resilience and hard work both in and out of school.

Nevaeh has recently been selected to represent the North West Region Team at the prestigious Golden Girl Box Cup in Sweden in February 2027. The Golden Girl Box Cup is the largest female boxing tournament in the world, bringing together talented young athletes from across the globe. Her selection is a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment, discipline and impressive performances she has consistently demonstrated through her training and competitions.

Adding to her success, Nevaeh recently won her first home show bout of the season at Clayton Amateur Boxing Club, marking another milestone in what has already been a remarkable year.

Away from boxing, Nevaeh has also excelled in athletics. Following an impressive performance at the recent district cross-country event, she was selected to represent Hyndburn & Ribble Valley at the Lancashire Schools Cross Country Championships. Competing against students from two year groups, Nevaeh achieved an excellent 6th-place finish, earning recognition for her determination and endurance.

Nevaeh trains tirelessly outside of school and her achievements are a testament to the hard work she puts into her sport. Although naturally modest about her success, her accomplishments deserve to be celebrated, and she is proving to be an excellent role model for other young athletes.

We are incredibly proud of Nevaeh and look forward to following her journey as she prepares to compete on the international stage in Sweden. We wish her the very best of luck and have no doubt that she will represent both her region and the Academy with pride.

Congratulations, Nevaeh!
